ISA students club Nirma University successfully hosted TECHNOFORA ’24. The event was organized under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Himanshu Patel, Head of the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department, and Prof. Sneh Soni, from 18th to 20th October 2024. The event featured an impressive array of hands-on workshops centered around automation and robotics, including immersive experiences like gyrobots, sixth sense bots, and HMI Design. School students also participated in activities such as Robomania, where they built robotic cars, and Automania, a quiz-based challenge testing their knowledge of automation fundamentals. The highlight of Technofora was a 37-hour-long robotics Techathon, where teams competed to solve complex real-world automation challenges on a complex track. The track required teams to navigate multiple obstacles, pull down an object mounted on the hill, maneuver up a slope, and ring a bell at the finish. With a prize pool of ₹15,000, the Techathon stood as a pinnacle of creativity and problem-solving, making TECHNOFORA ’24 a resounding success and further cementing the ISA Students Chapter’s role in imparting automation education and fostering innovation.
