The International Society of Automation (ISA), Students’ Chapter at Nirma University, organized a three-day workshop under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu Patel, Head of the E&I Department, and Prof. Sneh Soni. Held on February 27th, 28th, and March 1st, 2025, the workshop was led by industry expert Harsh Dave, offering an immersive learning experience in IoT, computer vision, and hands-on coding.
On Day 1, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of AI and ML, covering various AI models, machine learning algorithms, and their real-world applications. This theory-based session provided a strong conceptual foundation before transitioning to practical applications.
Day 2 marked the beginning of hands-on coding, with a focus on computer vision. Attendees were guided through fundamental coding concepts, image-processing techniques, and real-time vision-based applications. A practical assignment was also given to help participants apply their learnings.
On Day 3, the workshop delved into advanced computer vision exercises, exploring complex models, optimization techniques, and real-world implementations, further enhancing participants’ understanding of the field.
