The ISA Students’ Chapter, Nirma University, successfully organized TECHNOFORA’26, the flagship annual technical event of the chapter, from 18th to 20th September 2026 at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu K. Patel, Head of the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Faculty Advisor of ISA, and Prof. Sneh Soni, Faculty Advisor of ISA.
The three-day event recorded an overall footfall of more than 800 participants, with students from various colleges and institutions across Gujarat taking part in the different activities. The event comprised technical competitions, workshops, interactive activities, and a cultural evening, providing participants with opportunities to apply their skills, gain practical exposure, and interact with students from different institutions.
The event commenced with the inauguration ceremony, which marked the beginning of TECHNOFORA’26. As part of the inauguration, a special session was conducted with members of the team of the upcoming Gujarati film Mitrata. The actors interacted with the students and shared their experiences, providing an engaging start to the three-day event.
The technical activities included BridgeIt, CodeCraft, BidBots, Arm Craft, and RC Car, covering problem-solving, programming, strategy, robotics, engineering design, and control systems. These competitions provided participants with opportunities to apply their technical knowledge and demonstrate their problem-solving and practical skills. Technofora’26 also included workshops on PCB Design and Game Development, which provided participants with practical exposure to relevant technical concepts and applications. The organizers also conducted Human Bingo as an interactive activity, encouraging participation and interaction among students from different colleges.
