Department has an active MoU with Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd., since February 2014. Under the MoU, department organises various training programmes and workshops for students, academicians and industry persons. As part of the MoU, department has a Factory Automation Laboratory with latest industrial automation equipment sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd.
The Department is also benefited by various Institute and University level MoUs with International Universities of repute and scientific organisations. (MoUs of the Institute)
The major activities conducted under the MoU with Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd. are training programmes and workshops on SCADA software, PLCs, Factory Automation and Robot setup. Students also work on major projects on live problem definitions in these fields.
