Our students from the Electronics and Instrumentation (EI) Department have had their patent published for an “Autonomous Agricultural Robot for Sensor-Guided Seeding, Irrigation, and Fertiliser Application.”
Agriculture is rapidly evolving through smart automation, and this innovation addresses key challenges like resource optimization, labor efficiency, and precision farming. The robot integrates real-time sensors to automate seed placement, manage targeted water delivery, and apply precise fertilizer doses—minimizing waste while promoting sustainable farming practices.
